Free Oxford Training Roadshow / Withdraw of ASP BBC Video Collection offer

8 February 2018

I have some good and some bad news to pass on from EPIC vendors...I will start with the good news:

Free Oxford University Press Training Roadshow

Oxford University Press have organised a free training roadshow for all EPIC member organisations and their staff later in the month.

The sessions will run from 10am-1pm in the following cities and dates:

  • Auckland - Feb 19
  • Wellington - Feb 20
  • Christchurch - Feb 21

and will include the following products:

  • Oxford Art Online
  • Oxford Music Online
  • Oxford English Dictionary Online
  • New Oxford Shakespeare Online
  • Oxford Dictionaries
  • Oxford Reference Online

Download the Free Oxford Training Roadshow Invitation for more information about the roadshow and instructions on how to register for a session.

Withdraw of the Alexander Street Press - BBC Video Collection offer

Unfortunately, the BBC have notified ProQuest/Alexander Street Press that they will no longer license this collection for access through Public Libraries, therefore, Alexander Street Press is regretfully withdrawing this subscription option through EPIC for the 2018-2019 EPIC subscription year.

Those libraries that have current subscriptions through EPIC to this product will continue to have access through to 31 March 2018.

If you want further clarification about this, please contact Reuben Sonn from ProQuest at reuben.sonn@proquest.com.
