Spaces still available in some of the upcoming EBSCO training sessions

4 April 2018

The folk from EBSCO have asked me to let you know that there are a few places still available in some of their upcoming EBSCO training sessions next week.

Spaces are still available for the following sessions:

  • Wellington - Public Library session to be held at the National Library of New Zealand, Tuesday 10th April, 9.30am-12.00pm
  • Wellington - Academic session to be held at Victoria University, Tuesday 10th April, 1.30pm-4.00pm
  • Christchurch - Academic session to be held at the University of Canterbury, Thursday 12th April 9.30am-12.00pm
  • Christchurch - Public Library session, Thursday 12th April, 1.30pm-4.00pm

The agenda will include:

  • Best practices for customising library interfaces
  • Marketing and promoting your library e-resources
  • Getting your set-up right - a NZ user's perspective (spoiler alert - this will be me talking about the NZ Ministry of Education's EPIC e-resource subscriptions on behalf of NZ schools and the little things that have been done which have improved NZ schools' usage of e-resources by over 320% in just under 3 years).
  • eBooks - what is new and updated
  • Additional resources and SaaS - what's in discussion and on the horizon
  • Plus time for your questions and a round table.

To register for any of the above sessions and get location details, please email Liza Fisher (lfisher@ebsco.com)
