A LITERARY EPIC
(or epic doggerel)
When you're looking for a title
or a topic that's not hot
When you can't remember who-wrote-when
- or why or how or what
When your memory cells are overstretched
and can't tell verse from
prose
There's only one place left to
go - EPIC knows the knows.
When your students are all searching
for strange literary themes
Such as man-and dog dependence,
or dystopia, or true dreams
When Google gives 10 million hits and leaves
you quite depressed
There's only one place left to
go -EPIC is the best.
When the person you're researching
can't be found just anywhere
When the Net proclaims they don't
exist, you start to tear your
hair.
But wait, don't feel as though
you're going slowly round the bend
There's only one place left to
go - EPIC is your friend.
If it's anything historical that
you are looking for
But you can't locate that info
that will help you even more
When resources are exhausted and
you're feeling really frazzled.
There's only one place left to
go - EPIC leaves you dazzled.
When you're researching anything
and don't know where to go
Don't' waste your time by spending
hours searching high and low
Go straight to EPIC database, you'll
find the work soon done.
I've said there's just one place
to go - EPIC is the one.
