New EPIC subscription year starts tomorrow

This is a reminder that tomorrow is the beginning of the new 2017 EPIC subscription year.

This year EPIC members have taken up a combined total of 668 e-resource subscriptions from 107 of the EPIC subscription option choices from 23 different vendors! (This is a big difference from my first ever EPIC subscription renewal round in 2010 where there were 12 subscription options from 5 vendors).

A reminder also to those libraries that haven’t returned their confirmations that last Friday 3 March 2017 was officially the deadline to do so (use this link to access instructions and the downloadable subscription confirmation forms).

PressReader webex demonstrations for EPIC member libraries

In follow up to the EPIC Update email that I sent out yesterday reminding you of the upcoming deadline for EPIC subscription confirmations (Friday 5pm, 3 March 2017), I would also like to let you know about an additional subscription option that Bridget Williams Books is offering tertiary and public libraries exclusively through EPIC.

Changes to EPIC PressReader subscription model for 2017-2018

Over the last few years, PressReader have provided two subscription models for EPIC member libraries to subscribe to PressReader (previously known as Library PressDisplay). The unlimited user model and the simultaneous user model.

PressReader have informed me that they are no longer able to offer the simultaneous user model. 

2017-2018 EPIC subscription confirmation update

EPIC is now officially seeking subscription confirmations for the 2017-2018 EPIC subscription year (beginning 1 April 2017).
