Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all managed to have a nice wee break over the Christmas period.
My first update for 2017 is to let you know the confirmed dates and locations for the Oxford University Press upcoming EPIC Roadshow (which I mentioned in my last email update in 2016). OUP will be showcasing the subscription options that they will be offering NZ libraries through EPIC in 2017.

Now that we have settled down into the new EPIC subscription year, I thought it would be a good time to update you on what I am going to be doing to keep myself busy in the next few months and to seek your help with it. While I am in the business of asking for help, I thought that this is also a good opportunity to give you a bit of a heads up about how you can provide feedback to help shape the National Library of New Zealand’s strategic direction through to 2030.

You may remember last year that Gale Cengage announced the integration of Google with many of their e-resource collections. This enables Google account holders to login to Gale Cengage using their Google account information and save Gale content as Google docs into Google Drive or Google Classroom accounts.
Well, now, Gale have also partnered with Microsoft to intergrate with Microsoft Office 365.
This is now live in the following Gale Cengage resources available through EPIC:

As many of you may already have discovered, most of the EPIC member invoices have been sent out for payment this week.
Next week I will be sending out (via post) notices of renewal to your EPIC sub-licence agreements. These will include a revised supplier/database fee schedule to reflect your 2016-2017 EPIC subscription choices.
